Club Sponsors

Purpose of Club Sponsorship

  1. To use Naturist Clubs to promote ANRL with an objective of increasing awareness of our Library
  2. To reach out to potential Library Members
  3. To reach out to potential volunteers to help our library remain vibrant: see web page : Please Donate Time, Media, Computer Skills or Funds

Motion passed at the 1/15/2021 Annual Meeting

To change the definition of the “Club Sponsor (CS)” membership category. The new definition of CS will change yearly membership from $20/year to $0/yr if a club optionally chooses to support (i.e. sponsor) ANRL. If a club chooses not to support ANRL then their membership status would be changed from “Club Sponsor (CS)” to “Associate Member (A)” with normal membership dues of $20/year. The “Club Sponsor (CS)” membership category will be reviewed again in two years.

Club Database is being checked for good working contact information. 401 Clubs with eMail, 343 Clubs with valid URL

Club Sponsor Requirements, suggested but not limited to:

  1. Promote ANRL in their club. Brochures can be supplied by ANRL and information provided about ANRL social media.
  2. Encourage ANRL membership by club members. Membership applications will be provided by ANRL.
  3. Submit reports as desired of noteworthy club activities, memorabilia and events for inclusion in ANRL’s club folders.
  4. Subscribe ANRL to the club’s newsletter, which may be printed or digital
  5. Post ANRL’s Newsletter on their club bulletin board.
  6. Encourage their club webmaster to add links to ANRL on their club web site.
  7. Encourage club members to visit ANRL while at Cypress Cove or in the central Florida area.
  8. Send a summary report of their Club Sponsorship activities to ANRL at least once a year.

Club Sponsor Benefits: same as Associate Members but w/o yearly dues

  1. Borrow books and videos from ANRL
  2. Purchase surplus material at a discounted price
  3. Voting privileges of One Vote

Existing Life Club Sponsors

ANRL asks that existing club sponsors who are LIFE members of ANRL fulfill Club Sponsor Requirements as outlined above.

Roll-Out

  1. Send notes to existing Club Sponsor clubs and ask that they reply ASAP
  2. Clubs accepting the new CS status will be asked to submit a report of their activity
    1. if a club responds in a timely way, they maintain CS status
    2. If a club does not respond or does not accept CS they revert o Associate status
